One of the things I’ve wanted to work on for years is learning more about Celtic Knots. TaD seems like a perfect place to do this, and so I will be doing Celtic Knots as at least some of my Things.

I am using Sheila Sturrock’s Celtic Knotwork Designs (Guild of Master Craftsman Publications Ltd, 1997) as my source/inspiration. IIRC, we found this in the UK on our honeymoon. A pic of the cover for reference:

This is really a superb book, with very detailed examples and instructions, as well as a really wide variety of cool designs.

Wow, now I’m kinda of looking forward to this…!

I’ve given some thought to my theme. I considered going with a weekly or day-of-the-week themes. In the end, I decided on one theme for the month: Every day is an occasion to remember and celebrate. Bottom line is you can expect something different from me every day.

I’ve challenged my most creative friends to join (and some have too). I can’t wait to see what we all come up with!
