once again, it’s a project that does double duty. not only are these for thingaday but they’re part of my “campaign strategy”. more about that here if you’re interested.
Thing 4 is a knitted bunny, adapted from this wonderful pattern by Geobabe, which she posted to Livejournal. I modified the pattern to be worked in stockinette instead of garter stitch, and of course to be a rabbit not a cat:)
He was lots of fun to make, and pretty quick - it did take me over an hour, but probably wouldn’t have if I hadn’t sewed his head on backwards at first and had to fix that, and also I’m very bad at making pompoms, so his tail took a really long time. Also, he’s stuffed with cut-up grocery bags, so he’s kind of crinkly!
I made the paper rabbit from a template at www.paperboxworld.googlepages.com. The live rabbit loves to eat paper, so we retrieved the paper one quickly!
