I finally started editing the video for which the bird helmet had originally been created. I forgot to take a screenshot of the footage (I have to edit at school because my decrepit machine faints like a sissy at the sight of HD files); above is a photo that Han took while we were filming. I know I missed February 1st by three hours, but FUCK IT! Here’s thing-a-day no. 1:

I used duct tape and masking tape and cardboard and super glue and a dismantled motorcycle helmet. There is a hidden detachable front flap beneath the beak so that I can see out of the head while riding a bike. I made this for a super secret video project with my friends, the Invisible Cities, one of whom is fellow thing-a-day poster scontini. You like my avian myspace pose?
