eclipse
I took these photos last night. It was wonderful to see the changes during the eclipse.
Pretty day at the beach, photographed so I remember that the sun does still exist and Minnesota snowstorms do not last year round. They should end… about June, I’m guessing.

today i made clones of myself:
i have made these before and find them to be fascinating to look at, as well as fun to make. the idea is to take a portrait, preferably one that is shot from the front and evenly lit—you might have to rotate the picture a little if the head is tilted. then split the photo in half and flip each side horizontally and match to the corresponding side—so 2 right halves to form one face and 2 left halves to form another. most people will have a dominant side that has stronger, bigger features, and a less dominant side that will look more sensitive. here are some more clones that i have made of myself in the past.
I got behind. Let’s just forget about Friday. I knitted, that’s all that matters.
Here’s Saturday:
A photograph I took while waiting for James at the BART station. I can’t resist bright lights in the dark, and this one actually came out. I like how the line gets all broken up toward the right after looking so smooth on the left.
This thing of today is a silly toy designed to contort the appearance of the guy in the image - you shake the picture gently and change the shape of the nose.
Here are 2 shots:

I took my daughter to the park where I photographed her baking a birthday cake with sand and sticks.
I took a walk during my lunch break today, which isn’t always the case as I only have half an hour. As you can see it was an awesome day! A bit chilly, but if you walk fast enough it is ok. I had something else in mind but took my camera with me (after months of not doing so), in case something comes up. This picture is one lucky shot. I didn’t take a series of shots. I did a bit of post-processing to make it look like I really wanted. Now after one boring day at the office I guess I will take a closer look to a few other projects. Have a nice weekend and read you tomorrow.
