The final day! My last thing is a page from my page a day book. I’m so proud of myself for having posted and done a THING EVERY SINGLE DAY! Okay, so a couple of the days I had to post date them, but only because I didn’t have time to post that night. Each day posted is something that was truly done on that day.
And while making things every single day is part of my every day life, I would say this was quite a challenge to actually make something that is presentable. I am glad that I participated, and proud of myself for sticking to it.

This is a Page A Day page that was inspired by a page in my sketchbook years ago, which was inspired by the lid of my colored pencil box seen here . The tips of the pencils left subtle gentle marks on the lid as the box jostled around in my bag. I was really mesmerized by that beauty and recreated it here by dropping my colored pencils over the page.

So this year I’ve resolved to work on a page a day in a book I have. This is a page I did earlier today. The pages are in the same vein as Keri Smith’s morning collages, in that they are really just an expirament to keep creative juices flowing, and not too much emphasis put on the actual outcome. Normally my pages are done in the evening. I need to catch up on scanning in the pages, but there are a few posted here in a flickr set.
