I’m terrible at drawing and really intimidated by it, so tonight I was talked into playing this “game” where someone draws a scribble and the other person has to make a semi-sensical drawing out of it. Here are some results (both before & after) - I’m not telling you which one(s) are mine!

And now I’m all caught up and it’s going to stay that way!

He was so pleased to master a “real” figure. The first few times I had to hold strings down on his thumbs… they’re pretty little thumbs. But once he got the hang of it there was no stopping him.

He was equally as pleased to invent his own figure. I can’t remember now what this was, but he would be able to tell you exactly.

Mr. Dukes came up with a great suggestion for my remainder of Thing-A-Day. I’m going to make a board game. Here are my brainstormings. I’m pretty excited about this.

today i made a mii (from nintendo’s wii) for the ‘check mii out’ channel’s weekly contest and submitted it. the theme was ‘biggest football fan’:

he’s supposed to look like he’s wearing a crazy hat (the horn looking things are eyebrows that were raised) and has face paint (glasses that were lowered), but i’m not sure how well it works… i used this image for inspiration—but i think i tried to be too specific and didn’t really convey what i intended. i probably should’ve tried to make something more like what one would think of a generic sports fan…
i also took pictures of other mii’s that i’ve made and/or contributed to and added them to my flickr page…
