This is a little fish, in a hefty undersea rope design.

Today’s thing is a Swimmy for the etsy collage…

I spent the day getting ready for a trip to San Diego, packing running errands, etc.

Today’s Lunch:

• Taiyaki
• Furikake [seaweed sprinkles] in the yellow duckie
• Fresh carrots
• Fish cakes
• Brown rice

Today’s point of interest: the happy house scene made with carrots, nori, fish cake, and pickled raddish

I was going to buy some battered fish to have ‘fish n chips’ for dinner, but I decided to take a slightly healthier approach and buy some fresh fish and try a new recipe I had found.

It was deeeelish! Sadly, the fries were frozen… and that mayo on the side is not quite low fat

thinking about peace. paz. here is a lil brass fish i picked up long long time ago. so i got some of those noodles (again)  from the 60s - (sand). got moonstone (clouds) and these others remind of the sea & sky and the fishy…peace peace

I’m getting the hang of shading & drawing without hard lines… still don’t like graphite much.

This one’s still in progress. Made a viewfinder out of cardboard (no that’s not cheating) to help with the composition. I felt like focusing in on a detail today.

I’ll definitely need more time on this one.

My drawing teacher wants me to bring in this & yesterday’s work (and my college drawings) to her kid’s class for a “Dog & Pony” show as she called it. Guess she thinks I’m doing well, eh?

So I’m drawing this fish for a few days - maybe 5 or so… gotta work on my drawing skills or my drawing teacher will draw all 5 feet of her up and stare me down ’till I faint.
