It’s a dog. Eating from a metal bowl and then fighting with the blankets, he sounds like this.
If you’re in NYC and you’d like to meet this or other instruments-of-the-day, check this out.
I’m going to continue with the instrument building, one a week for as long as I can stand it. If you wanna keep up with the noise, bookmark or subscribe to my homepage. Thanks for putting up with the cacophony!

Felt like taking a break from collage. This is Seamus, our rottweiler-pitbull mix. Affectionately known as Shamy-wamy or Sir Lick-a-lot. A photo can be seen here.

Sometimes, animals are too cute to resist. Other times they drive us up a wall.
Luckily for me, today has largely been one of the former times. And when I saw my roommate’s puppy in the snow, the camera had to come out.
The nice thing about all of this is that, it can be a snapshot, but I’m always trying to apply what I learned in my single photography class, and make all my shots better. So I took a lot of photos today, not just because the pup was cute, but because I wanted to see if I could improve on my shooting. And I have to say that I am very pleased with this image.

He was quite happy snoozing in the sunlight, dreaming of bird hunting…that is til mom came along with the flash.

So, I posted Day One and Day Two in one day - no biggie. I’m back on track.
My future sister-in-law knows that I make jewelry on occasion, so she asked me to replicate a necklace she had for the bridesmaids to wear in the wedding. I’m sure the original is something like swarovski crystals, but since we’re on a budget, I found some really nice glass beads at AC Moore. They don’t have quite the same sparkle - but they’re DARN close.
They’re tough to photograph so as you can see, I’ve used a model - my adorable little guy, Finnegan. :) I know he totally upstages the necklace, but try to not focus on his cuteness…. hehe.
