Days 27 and 28

Oh man, I could officially be the last poster for thing-a-day this year. That’s either highly embarrassing or exciting. A little bit of both. Between being sick and visiting my friend in Chicago, I’ve been far behind with catching up on thing-a-day (I read them ALL and refuse to let me post my catch-up things until I’ve read them all). But, I finally finished reading them all this morning, and so my last few things…

Essentially, I bought this beautiful birdcage at target (I couldn’t resist) when I had come up with the idea to fill it with candles (including a bird one :p) and decorate it with fake flowers to give it a sort of beautiful natural wilderness look. I still am not sure if I’m done with it, I might add another flower at the top, etc… But we’ll see. I like it for now. :)

feb 26 - we’re gettin’ there!

feb-25-26-026.jpgtook a large part of my morning off, but managed to make a giant clothespin bunny photo holder.  i’ll get it over to the etsy shop by noon today, promise!!  there’s also a sheepie who will make his/her appearance later, too!  these clothespins are great for holding pictures/ photos, recipe cards, paperwork, greeting cards… a sweet addition to any easter basket!

Well, I have finally gotten around to decorating my laptop. I like this. It was relaxing to do and less committal than tattooing it with the laser cutter (like my coworkers keep urging of me).

Day 6: Decorated wood letters

These are so much fun to do…wood letters decorated with paint, paper, and other embellishments.

These particular letters are heading off to a blog to be be reviewed and featured.  I’m hoping it will bring some sales my way.  Wouldn’t that be cool?

Folding and folding and folding

I missed today’s deadline, unfortunately, but I’ll continue to participate despite this infraction. I started folding tiny paper stars and put them into a plain glass ball.

I did start folding about 10:00 (Pacific time) this evening and it took only a couple of minutes per star.

I seem to be a bad judge of time. But will take care tomorrow to get it done within the alloted time.
