My daughter alerted me to the site. I’m supposedly an aspiring writer, but I don’t write. So I’ve decided to utilize Thing-a-day to challenge myself and get into the habit of writing at least something daily. I’m going to try to write one Haiku per day for the 29 days of February. Wish me luck!!!

Greetings from London, Ontario!
I’ve given some thought to my theme. I considered going with a weekly or day-of-the-week themes. In the end, I decided on one theme for the month: Every day is an occasion to remember and celebrate. Bottom line is you can expect something different from me every day.
I’ve challenged my most creative friends to join (and some have too). I can’t wait to see what we all come up with!
Discovered this project on Etsy forums. A bunch of us have signed-up. Looking forward to the challenge hoping it will shake away these winter blues.

I’m so excited!
I’ve never considered myself that creative, so this is totally going to be a challenge for me. But, I’m up to it! I’ve already done some late-night brainstorming (not really planning, just thinkin’). I also want to try out a bunch of different things, like painting, and charcoal, and all the stuff that I’ve never really done before. It would be cool to do one different kind of art a day. Like, not from the same medium twice! That would be hard! I don’t know if I’m up to that challenge!
