I guess I’m a fan…

During the Oscars last night, I made this project with some leftover pegboard and the Tiffany Blue Boxes I’ve been saving for a few years. I didn’t have the heart to throw them away, but I also didn’t have the heart to give them with gifts, either. What do you do when this happens? Make some damn art. This is a technique I cam up with for a housewarming gift, and it worked well here, just on a larger scale with the boxes.

I like pop art. I think it shows…

I haven’t posted but I’ve actually been really busy and been creating a lot. I’ve done all from creating ads, writing a wee booklet and shooting a family christening - which now I am going to edit the photos and turn into a photo album. Bring it on creative month. Just can’t put everything up in pics for copyright reasons, but still at it and enjoying everyone’s posts.
Best,
D

So here we are at Super Bowl Sunday, the climax of the professional football season, that hyperbole of hype, merchandising Mecca, a day that has as much to do with market shares as with athletic excellence. In honor of the event, here’s my Haiku for the day:
Super Bowl Sunday.
Ads, yes; football, not so much–
Million-dollar ads.
A little cynicism to flavor your wings, pizza, and beer. But hey, root for your team, ogle the Hooters girls and hunky quarterbacks, argue over the refs’ calls, and ENJOY!
