Day 29
As the curtain closes on both Thing-A-Day and my Entertainment Photo-Journal, I finish with this entry: my Bruce puppet, waiting quietly backstage to make his entrance.

Later, taters!!

Today’s my birthday, so technically I think I should be exempt from making anything, but I did nonetheless… a new podcast episode!!

I was a bit of a cowpoke in the show tonight:

…and a TV in the greenroom means no one has to miss the Idol:

(I don’t watch it, tho)
Leaving work today, I learned that we were in the middle of a tornado warning. On my way out, this:

Quickly turned to this:

And then petered out. Ah well.
So I found out today that I was re-cast at Universal Studios. I used to work there a few years ago, doing both shows and street atmosphere characters. One of their attractions is Shrek 4-D, which is populated by new interpretations of fairy tale characters. I’m going to be playing Hansel (as in “…and Gretel”), complete with lederhosen. Sweet!
I can only hope I can base some of my character traits on the classic Bugs Bunny version:

Today was my first day back at Nemo since spraining my wrist. As you can see, it’s been taped within an inch of its life. Got thru the shows pretty well, tho.

Created and posted a new podcast episode today:

A 70s icon (kinda) is in danger, we receive a very memorable e-mail, and both Kevin and one of our listeners go on an unexpected rant.

I made this prop Interpol I.D. badge (which was to be folded and put into a lanyard) for a character I was supposed to play tonight. At the last minute, however, I was asked to switch roles with another actor, so I didn’t get to wear it. He did, tho, so at least it made its debut tonight after all.

I was scheduled for three shows at Nemo today, but couldn’t do them all because I sprained my wrist during the first one. Theater injuries - Bah!

Had a matinée today in which I got to dress up. Sometimes, I actually clean up pretty well!

It’s after midnight, so it counts. I finished the video!

Here’s a screenshot of the editing I’ve been doing for my next podcast video. I’ve been working on it pretty much all day. Hopefully, it’ll be done for upload tomorrow!

The Boys in Blue - A night onstage where 70s chic meets a poor-man’s King Arthur and Sir Lancelot.

Today’s thing: Another new episode of my podcast:

Took a break from being ON stage today and instead watched others entertain. Caught the tour of The Drowsy Chaperone in Orlando.
