I’ve recently gotten into bhangra (an Indian style of music) and today while listening to it I was finally able to finish this painting. It took me forever to figure out what to do with it. I’m kinda bummed thing-a-day is over. I’ve been so inspired by all of you! Who’s up for 365 thing-a-days? I had this awesome plan to make a cool animated gif for my last thing but I couldn’t figure out a way to set up my cheap camera in a steady spot to take pics at the same angle every time. Maybe next year
First time attempting this. I took a bunch of recipes I found online and mixed them together and tweaked them to my liking. It was way too much for me so I shared it with my nephew ^.^ It was okay for my first time (especially a newb cook like me lol) Thing a day rawks cause this month I’ve cooked more than I have in all my 21 years of living
I know this is a very simple thing for most, but I’ve only made a grilled cheese once before and that was 6 or 7 years ago lol. I used french bread and sprinkled some Parmesan cheese on the sides of the bread that I put the margarine on. Then used 2.5 slices of cheese on the inside. Viola lolol
I finally went back to my watery painting thing and finished it up. Here’s the finished product ^.^ I’m happy with how it turned out. Acrylic on 16 x 20 canvas
Today was day 1 where I didn’t create something for my thing-a-day. I feel like I did more than just create something though. I closed doors to harmful emotional clutches, and opened doors to growth, connection and my future. Today my thing was healing, and boy did it come at just the right time.
