Cleaned, rearranged and organized my craft area. So I guess today I made a “space” for creative things to happen. My apt is not spacious but I did the best I could.
Was slammed busy yesterday working on these to finish the order so its a twofer.

I took a few pictures today and I might play around with those for the next few things. I’ve never really done anything with pictures or photo editing.
This is my wall, tweaked a bit.

printed out an Irish dancing fairy from one of my most favorite sites www.thetoymaker.com
My daughter is an Irish dancer so any pretty thing with a shamrock is her most loved possession. This is a little pencil topper that spins and dancing when you blow on it.

Today’s thing is 100% heartfelt
get it. (ba dum dum)
This is the flat heart and the model I used to make it.
Stuffed heart for a more 3D effect.
I’m going to be gone for the rest of the day so I needed to do my thing early.
It’s a Spider pin cushion ring made from felt (leftovers from my friend Diane), a recycled drink top, and a hair tie. I think it is adorable!

Maybe completion will be my thing tomorrow. lol

An order for a dino in progress and the planned thing for day 11. Supplies all prepped.
ok I busted out my glue gun and tried my first bitter conversation heart magnet… embroidery, even at this type of basic level, is not my thing but I’m hoping I’ll get better.

Mardi Gras beads knitted into a sort of a short scarf/necklace thingy.
My thing 2 ( I made her 7 years ago so she doesn’t count for the challenge
) modeling my t-a-d 10

A close up view of the thing

In progress

Granola bars, double chocolate orange muffins, 2 loaves white bread (right) and 2 loaves jalapeño cheese bread (just came out of the oven and smells SO GOOD!)
Today’s thing wasn’t finished in just an hour, it wasn’t finished in even a day. I finished an order today for a friend, so that’s my thing.

One of the great this about living in Southern Louisiana is, of course, Mardi Gras. We went to quite a few parades and I couldn’t wait to craft with the ton of beads we got.
I decided to make a bowl. I had planned on making a few melted bowls but quickly changed my mind. I swear this bowl nearly killed me. I knew it would stink but holy cannoli!!!
This started out being iridescent/clear, pink and white… I promise! They took forever to melt, the fumes became unbearable and after 30minutes or so I had to call it done. I draped it over a bowl… I think I should have used a cup for more shape, and let cool. Then some of the foil stuck to the bowl. Sigh
Oh, well. Not every Thing turns out the way we hope.
