For my thing a day today I decided to cook some pasta carbonara.
Ingredients:
- Spaghetti
- Some sort of meat, I used chicken salami.
- Cheeeeeeeeeese!
- Smoked Bacon
- One fried egg
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oregano
- Sour Cream
- Parsley
So basically I just cooked the pasta, fried an egg, put the pasta on my plate, put the egg on top, threw in the bacon, salami, cheese and seasonings and garnished with freshly chopped parsley. Not to be a braggard, but they tasted spectacular.
Took a pic for you, right before I dug in:

Yes, ladies and gents, behold the first decent shot I took of my cat. Because she’s so black, her fur reflects the flash in a horrific manner. And if I don’t use the flash, then she just looks like a big black blob. But last night I finally got that elusive picture. I’m really proud of it, and I invite you to enjoy it!

I’ve been searching the stores looking for a small sketchbook, but I couldn’t find any. Sooo I decided to make my own primitive notebook. I figured the easyiest way to do this was to just cut cardboard sheets of roughly the same size, punch holes through them and secure them with rope. It took quite some time to do and i almost stuck a stiletto in my hand, but now it is completed.
I only need to turn the first and last pages into covers with maybe watercolours.
So from now on, anything that’s drawn for thing-a-day goes in my primitive notebook. I also took pictures along the way, so enjoy. :)

I was too lazy to scan it so I just took a picture of it. >_>

Black toad and white toad each have something in common, apart from their love for curry.

For my first thing a day, I took this old CD containing family pictures and I infested it with amoebas.

This is quite an interesting project, and a damn fine one. Just the perfect opportunity for me to get off my lazy ass and do some art. Honestly, I can’t wait to begin.
