Wow. It’s over. hm, the time flew by!

Today I made an attempt at wire wrapping. Still not convinced I’m doing it correctly, but it looks ok. It’s a shame the photos do not do the stones justice - in real life they have such depth and flash within. The bottom stones are labradorite (my fav) and I was told the top was a darker version of it, but I’m not sure. It is pretty, though! These will be on my etsy shop, rubyzu, but I want to try and get some better photos.

I reworked my thing from the other day into a necklace. I like it much better. As much as I would like to keep it, it will end up for sale in my etsy shop, rubyzu. The necklace part is reticulated quartz in little diamond and rod shapes.

Today was extraordinarily long. And a bit stressful. So - tonight’s thing was a much needed SPA NIGHT (at home, of course).

Locked door  - candle light - soft music - long, long hot steamy pomegranate bubble bath - deep conditioned hair - mud mask all over - lots and lots of moisturizer at the end.

I’m soooo relaxed I feel drugged.  zzzzzzzzzz

Made some earrings today (big surprise) to go with a necklace I made myself the other day. I really like the little sterling silver dragonfly.

Today’s thing is a snowflake I cut from a piece of scrap paper.  It’s the only kind of snow we get in Florida (I know, those of you in the north probably want to kick me).

These did not come out exactly like I had hoped. I do like the fact that they can read differently depending on how the individual charms hang. The backs even have a design in case they get turned around. Going to keep trying…

Spent today having a mother and daughter day - shopping, haircut, lunch out, running errands. I was supposed to work all day, but that was absolutely a better way to spend the day! I did manage to squeeze these in. LOVE THEM!

Today I made a pair of chrysocolla earrings to match the necklace I made the other day for my etsy shop. I think I like the earrings better than the necklace (and I want to keep them for myself). heehee

Today was not my best day ever. Stress at work, sick child, all evening at the dr to get her some meds. But she if finally tucked safely in bed. My 2oth post is going to be a little different - not the creation of something, but a thought (which some do believe leads to creation)…

I stopped for a brief moment on the etsy forums tonight to check up on the status of one of our own who’s husband has been missing since 2/13 (near Seattle). Unfortunately, there is no news but the support from the Etsy group is inspiring. Now there is another thread about a missing child in GA, perhaps taken to TN. (Please go to etsy.com and go to the etc. section of the forums (under community) for more information on both situations.) Perhaps I did not have such a bad day after all - at least my little love is here… with me.

So here is my “creation” - I wish and hope and pray and put all my positive thoughts into bringing this man and this child home to their families. Today’s thing is a chrysocolla and sterling silver necklace for my etsy shop.

Today I made this bracelet and earrings for my shop on etsy. I also painted my gate. I should of taken a picture of myself all covered in paint. It seems like I spend 1-1/2 painting and another hour getting all the paint off of myself. Most messy painter in the world, that’s me! LOL

Yikes! Day 17 already. I spent the day making earrings (and cleaning my room, which was a serious mess). Here is a pair of sterling silver ones I made for my etsy shop (rubyzu.etsy.com). I really want to keep them, but then I really want to keep a lot of the stuff I make. LOL

Today I had some free time to myself - VERY rare these days. A whole 4 hours! ALONE! So I created the space in my brain to allow myself something just for me that I have wanted for awhile. A pedicure! Complete with awesome foot and leg massage and an incredible massage chair for my back. I spent the rest of the time wandering around Home Depot (one of my fav things to do).  The reason this means so much to me is because even when I do get free time, I never use it to do anything for myself. After a day of working, feeling tired (and grumpy) - I created a special reward! Yay, me!

Home from work today because my daughter has a cold. I’ve been thinking about what I could do with these glass daggers for awhile. This is what I came up with - I call it “Rainforest” (for my shop rubyzu.etsy.com).

Day 10 already. Can you believe it? So I tried something different today. I broke out the watercolors. I call it “Waves of Faded Love” - what do you think?
