I have been in a crafting up a  storm this week.  I guess I am making up for the days I didn’t have the time to create this month.  I am adding the things I made today, 2 purses, and a hair poof or pin for you clothing (it has a hair clip and a pin on the back to use for a broch).  In addition I am adding a photo of all the headbands I made yesterday.  One purse is made out of scrap leather that I found at the thrift store.  The other purse is made out of vintage silver and black brocade and is lined.   Enjoy!!!

I wanted to experiment with some dramatic makeup, so here is the outcome on my friend Timberly. 

I started a new blog today, my first one.  I am so excited and have been thinking about it for while. I have been busy cleaning and organizing for the last 2 days.  It has been really sunny and warm here and instead of being outside I have been busy cleaning out my closet, organizing my belts, coats, necklaces (which were all tangled up in a mess) and shoes.  It feels great to have everything all nice and easy to find.  Hopefully this will make my goal of non matching outfits easier.  You know non matching is the new black.

Oops. I have been slacking.  Got a bit busy and was going to give up but now I have decided to try to redeem.   Here is a pic of the thing I did this past weekend, on my behalf I just got the picture as it was on a friends phone.  The sweetest dog harvey was dressed up in my hat, sunglasses and arm warmers (for his legs).  Happy valentines day!

so while watching my new fave movie last night (across the universe) i painted my nails all pretty with one color as the base (hot pink)  then i painted random lines on each one in diffrent spots and at diffrent angles (dk purple almost black), then i used yellow as little dots on top of the dk purple.  For the final step i added one orange dot to each of the nails on the section where the purple line was not.  I attempted to take a picture numerious times but my mac photobooth app. was not working.  My sweetheart finally fixed it by resetting something in my computer, however by then i had already taken the polish off.  It started chipping today and was driving me crazy.   So there you have it, my thing for yesterday…….a story of how i painted my nails.  whewwwwww.  I’m just glad my eyesite was’nt actually broken on my puter. A Better thing coming  for today, soon!!   I guess i will post a pic of the colors i used, that is some form of art i guess. 

Today I did’nt have to work at the salon, but Work I did, anyway.  2 friends called for haircuts so thats what I did.  I think they are both on the same schedule, it’s not the first time they were here on the same day.  It’s always fun, considering we sit around and drink wine.  The guy haircut on Jonas is fun because he has a little curl in the front, which is the only long part of his haircut. Girl version on Emily is very similar to the original bob that has one side just a tad bit longer for a interesting effect. 

I missed the cut for yesterday, but here is the little butterfly clip i made.  Pretty simple, i had a busy day.  More to come later today.

One of my cat’s is a bit fussy but i managed to keep him still long enough to get a good shot with the mac photobooth app.  the other pics are of the  the cute ribbon necklaces that I made for them. 

Here are the creations some of us made at my superbowl craft party.  I made the brown feather headband with buttons.  Nichole is wearing the flower pin with feathers that she created and Timberly is wearing her feather hair pin. We had a blast and ate way too much fried food……but it was yummy.  Everything was covered with franks.<img src=

I am super excited for day 3.  I am having a superbowl party.  The superbowl sux, but there will be a lady craft room.  so we will be creating all kinds of stuff.  I am starting with plain headband forms and we will be creating our own creations of headbands with feathers, flowers, fabric and whatever else we can find in my craft boxes.   Also flower pins and jewelery.  Basically the ladies will be creating. I cant wait to document al this and show pictures of our creations.  More to come. Jocelyne

So today I was a little slow at work so I decided it was time to do my own hair.   I was getting a bit bored with the plain old dark, all one color, so i decided to spice it up a bit and added some copper streaks and 2 different colors to my fringe.  Those who know me know that my hair color doesn’t stay the same long.  So this is my new look and a great way to start off the new month…….and hey its a leap year so my cousin actually has a real birthday this year.  I think he is either 10 or 11 (40-44)  11.  (40 or 44) 

This is going to be so much fun.  I can’t wait to share my ideas with the world.  I was thinking about starting a outfit of the day blog, because I am obsessed with fashion and am a designer and hairstylist as well.  Hopefully this experiance will give me the little push I need to start that.
