Summer fun

Here is my nephew sliding into March. Enjoy.

I have been feeling sick the last two days so I have had lots of time to knit. I finished another 18th century sailors hat (3 more to go) amd the second is a scarf for a friend’s birthday next week. I should have time to finish it. The yarn is bamboo and very soft.
Here are some more paper castings from rubber stamps. I am not sure how to color them yet.
I knit an 18th centuary sailor’s cap for my husband, who does Rev. War reenacting, last fall. It was too big so I took it apart the other day and I am reknitting it. I just have to add the brim.
These are made from rubber beads I found in Middlebury, VT last summer. They are light as a feather and the two parts move when they are hanging. They will be worn on days when I need a smile:)

I made this small paper explosion book today. It was smaller than expected because of the size the original squares floded down to, but they say good things come in small packages. I learned how to adjust the paper size for the future.
Just finished this scarf today.I had to rip out sections many times because I found the pattern hard to follow if I didn’t write down where I was row by row.

Here are pictures of the pencils I will give a kindergarten class and the cards I’ll send to great nieces and nephews.
With birthdays the past few days I haven’t posted, but I still am creating. Here is a start of a new scarf.
