Moi can’t wait til Feb’09 to do TAD again. This was inspirational and fun. I’m glad to have this extra day. I finally tried KatFish’s paper cut out - t’anks for the fun! Slainte.
I see this every day and don’t know why it hasn’t dawned on me to use it as a feature on TAD. This was a Christmas gift from Lil Mel a couple years ago. I’m cheating a little bit but giving props too so, it evens out.
I realize this is very basic editing for most of you however, for those of you who don’t know Moi (which is all but one of you) this is quite a big step for me. I am totally computer-art illiterate and rarely roam far from Word or Excel (I’m a friggin accountant for Pete’s sake!) Alas, I present a poor-man’s “photo shopping remake” of a picture of a castle in Ireland. I’m going to do this to all of my pictures!

We all have clothing that doesn’t fit anymore, that’s torn up or just out of style. Make a pillow out of them. It’s super easy! I need more stuffing - right now it’s only stuffed with the scraps (Oooh, that’s very green of me).

Did I ever tell you about the time I was the premier wrestling manager in the state of Colorado? That’s how I remember it hence, the word “reversal” reminds me of wrestling. This is a picture of Ed at the State Tournament in ‘83. He was the fiercest 105 lb person I’d ever know. Hey - this could also fall under the theme “Little People” doh!
I’m on a black kick. Painted my old gold office clock to better match my home decor. And added some color to this white-washed key holder for $5 at Target (which I’ll use as a necklace/bracelet holder). It’s a little rushed, but much better.
Made this from a Sunprint kit. It worked perfectly and would have turned out better if I would have picked a one-dimensional item that didn’t cast a shadow. Kudos to UC Berkeley for writing simple instructions! Damn that camera shake.
I got this crystal growing set for my husband for our 15th/Crystal anniversary. An “Azurite” crystal cluster was suppose to grow on this rock. Instead, I’ve got a pan covered in a skin of crystal that I can never use again. The instructions SUCK! And I’ve got 14 more crystals with SUCKY instructions left.
. . . still ain’t gettin’ it . The object is to reproduce the circle and dot without lifting your pencil? Am I that dense?
I submitted a piece that corresponded with the other work in this art show. Funny how the teacher (Mr. Neff) didn’t follow directions and hung this stupid piece. Dad seems to like it though.
Voila! Yet another handmade Valentine Day card. This one was sent to Grandma Grace in Arizona, where all the grandmas live ;- )
