Remember this from yesterday? Well, tonight I unraveled it and started over. It is now about half as wide and I’m only using one skein at a time instead of two. I’m making it out of scrap yarn and realized I would definitely run out before finishing a scarf if I didn’t do this. Sigh.
At least it’s something!

Then I started a scarf during ANTM. Someday I’ll finish it and add tassels.

I’ll be adding a Day 25 post later, but I justed wanted to get all caught up beforehand. I visited a friend in Brooklyn, which meant none of my usual crafts! But I did take some pictures of my travels. Nothing super gorgeous, as I didn’t have a fancy pants camera with me.

Another make up post! I made the octopus yesterday, and stuffed the owl today. Unfortunately, yesterday I left my camera cord at work so I couldn’t upload the pictures.
I am becoming quite fond of the octopus pattern I made. I think I’ll keep playing around with it!
I’ll be in New York Thursday-Sunday so we’ll see how posting goes! There might be another make up day next Monday! 
First, I need to apologize for my absence! I’ve been out of town and away from a computer since Friday. I completely missed Valentine’s Day, but oh well because I had an amazing time (and my Valentine loved his robot)! So here are the things I worked on this weekend. They were all quick, easy, and fun.
I ended up giving the octopus and cupcake away to two of my friends.

Sorry I took night time pictures. The flash made everything look unnatural so I’m posting my low light ISO images.
These are double sided felt hearts. I made 10 in varying colors. I sewed them up with a regular stitch and put some ribbon in between the layers for hanging. There’s no real point to this project… it just adds a little V-day cheer to my apartment!

A super quick little v-day project. I really loved it UNTIL I glued it to the paper (I was going to write a sweet message on the back). The glue dots are a bit obnoxious. Sigh…
Today I made something in Illustrator. It looks a lot like a wallpaper. Hmmm. Hopefully I get to make something else today. This wasn’t that exciting!

Today I gathered magazine clippings for a frame I will be decoupaging. Not sure if I’ll post that finished product within the next week since it’s a V-day present. Anyway, just wanted to stay with blues, greens, and yellow… kind of a nature theme. The challenge will be arranging them on the frame. It’s 5×7 frame with a 4×6 print on each side. (It’s going to be reversible).

I almost forgot to post! Anywho (hoot) here’s an owl. I wish I had some filling to fatten him up, but, alas I do not… and I’m trying to make things using the stuff I already have at home.

Still sick! But I managed to finish something in Illustrator. It might be a little light on your monitor. I’ve been accused of having my monitor set up too bright. Oh, and don’t mind the lossy compression. This is a definite departure from the last few days of crafts.
I am very sick today (you know, body aches, runny nose, coughs, and uncontrollable cold spells), but I managed to eek out a no-knit scarf from some extra yarn I had sitting around. It took about an hour and that was mainly b/c I kept getting tangled. Thank goodness for sick days off work! Now, back to bed!

Some fabric birds for an eventual mobile/hanging display. They are double-sides with complementary fabrics. A good, quick, and fun project!

A headband! I’m digging the contrasting fabrics. And now that I’ve got my sewing machine hooked up I can churn these babies out as often as I need them. Sweet.
