ok…so everyday I’ve been writing, writing, writing. And this is good albeit frustrating because there is no finished product yet. Just a lot of images and no resolution no landing but its getting there. I won’t subject you to my drafts and you will thank me. Yesterday my abuela gave me a unakite necklace - to rebead…tomorrow, tomorrow. Now, I’m back to my snail paced poems; to that place of fear! Ahoy!
thinking about peace. paz. here is a lil brass fish i picked up long long time ago. so i got some of those noodles (again) from the 60s - (sand). got moonstone (clouds) and these others remind of the sea & sky and the fishy…peace peace

writing not going the most fluid. but um…its going somewhere.
I made an earring to match moms necklace. again made of noodles she toasted when she was pre-teen. my grandmother told me today that these noodles were all the rage. in our small town. beads. love beads. home made beauty. heres a shot of the earring (gotta make the pair tomorrow) and the matching necklace. sorry about the awful lighting. as far as my writing goes, today was a funky day. 
ok, so yesterday i worked on adding some copper to a poem i’m working on. today i made this necklace for moms bday. i made it with noodles that she toasted & used as beads when she was a child. they’re star shaped. they are vintage noodles. I worked with a 5 & 3 pattern. oh and i used an old earring that she gave me because she lost its pair. its made of bone and brass. blue/black crystals. black stone. and i made some weird cookies with all the stuff i thought would go good together - corn flour, arrowroot flour, applesauce, vanilla, eggs, cinnamon, raisins, coconuts. sugar. intense and strangely, decent.
today as baby takes baby’s nap, i’m gonna work on an image for one in a series of poems. word/smithing. -an image per day - color details : the challenge is to incorporate SILVER into the text 
… might make more “stuff” later on..
