I was just in Las Vegas. Here is a shot from the window… on the runway… waiting to take off.

The main thing I like about this whole thing-a-day project is that I get to take a photo of everything I make. Photography is my real passion. So today - I took this photo of a rose and I just love it.

Finally wrapped my mom’s present. Tried to make it look extra special.

So since tomorrow is V-day and I’m trying really hard to be okay happy with it, I decided to make pink earrings. I’m not sure it will help but in the end at least now I have pink earrings. Who needs silly flowers!

It’s unbearably cold outside. I’m not good friends with the cold. We aren’t on good terms. So I thought I would make a spicy hot stir fry and magically pretend I’m in Thailand (or some other far away, very hot place) eating it. While on the beach. In the sun. In the very hot, beautifully wonderful, Vitamin D filled sun. 

Today was just a funny-lookin-stuffed-animal kinda day.

This was a quote in a devotional that inspired me. I used my new stamps and photos that I took on vacation.

I bought finger paints today. Regressing back to kindergarten is fun. I would suggest it. Although I don’t think we even used real paint in kindergarten, no, come to think of it… we used chocolate pudding! Something makes me think that wouldn’t be allowed anymore.

I’ve wanted to make this lasagna recipe since I saw it on Pioneer Woman Cooks. But I was way too busy being lazy to do it. And I kept on saying that it was pointless since I’m just making it for me (me = “single girl”) and what a waste that would be. But then I thought -why can’t I eat delicious lasagna, single or not? Plus, it’s great practice for when I’m no longer on my own. (And since I have a vision board (day 6 post) I should be seeing him walk through my door with a great big giant bow around his neck any day now… right?) You know maybe I should’ve given up being sarcastic for lent!
