In few words: I am 23. I have big eyes. I am pregnant with a baby boy. I read. I write. I draw. I paint. I sing. I dance. I knit. I sew. I love. I eat. I sleep. I cuddle. Did I mention that I love??
So, I know, I know, I haven’t posted in a few days AGAIN…but this time I did so while still maintaining my thing-a-day..I’m working on the SOMETHING FOR HOME theme…packing and moving, and cleaning..preparing to habitat my new home. Unfortunately, it will be a home without internets, so I will not be sharing much. I may be able to post a weekly update of each weeks things on laundry day…
So the computer wasn’t working quite correctly last night when i went to post…so now i will say that yesterday i made my bathroom fit in boxes and dirty spots clean…thats my thing for the day…i cleaned and packed. Stay tuned for today’s thing.
i am working on some artist trading cards tonight…using prints of a couple pieces from earlier this month.. here is a scan of the first one.
the others i doodled extra little lines on to make them originals/more unique…and have not yet gotten to finishing…
Holy crap….it’s been 4 days since my last post. I am disappointed in myself for missing out. Yesterday I made a to-do list. Right now I have a cherry pie in the oven, and am concocting a plan for an apple….I can’t say I didn’t create anything in the past few days, but I can’t say I really have taken the time to let loose the juice…to give in to the flow…. to get into the groove and create. I am back.
I didn’t make the cut yesterday…I had considered cheating just to get something in, like I was gonna scan an old drawling and tweek it in photoshop…but figured I didn’t reeeeallly wanna spend 20 min. doing that so I would have to cheat and lie and go to hell….so I just went to sleep instead. But I will cheat and think of something I made yesterday…like lunch!!! I made black bean burgers and salads for hubby and I. And they were delish. I made a bath for me to soak in, and I tried out purl stitch on my project knit…I doodled in an old sketch book….I filled out an application for a duplex we are looking into…and I’m sure I made someone smile… So I did minuscule things all day long…if you add it up it had to be at least an hour..well, lunch prolly took me 20 minutes…so THERE. I’m good. No pictures to prove, but what can ya do??? I promise to make double today…okay??
I started practicing my knitting today…this much took me an hour…phwew. I hope to get quicker and better so I might make my bun in the oven a nice blanky for when he is done cookin’.
Okay, so I made soem peanut butter cookies this morning about 5am…I have not entirely decided if I am going to be so lazy as to claim that as my thing to day…we’ll see…but if so, then I will maybe post a picture of one before they get eaten. If not, I will be back with more fun.
I think these will be hung up where I will see them often…

Well, I’m sorry but i just can’t stop….I had to fix this piece into something I enjoyed before I could do anything else with myself…
I didn’t exactly doodle…just kinda typed and cut out pieces of paper, glueing them into preferred places….I am happy with one piece, the other I’m impartial..so it is being saved for some more action in the future.
If you don’t count how long it took me to scan and upload the boogers then I don’t think it took me more than an hour to create…

I woke up again with tears, and feel like giving in completely…but I know I’ll feel better if I just go and create…
I think I shall doodle..that will be my masterpiece..a doodle.

Ugh..okay, here it is, an update…I didn’t get to posting the first two days. I was too busy sulking. I spent a night backwashing some paper canvases with oil paints, and they still weren’t dry on the first, after airing out for four days…it made me sad. So I turned to the computer…

I never thought I’d be looking forward to February so much…The most jaded month of the year, where winter has past its being cute phase and moves into its gross and groggy dragging on phase…
But hey, I guess that’s why we’re doing this right? To make the best of the worst…And I’m so very excited..
Last year was a year of self-improvements, ditching bad habits and self-destructiveness… and somehow I found very little time to be creative…This is just the sort of thing I need to get me going in a good direction of creation this year…
