I wrote up a tutorial on how to make a quilt I made almost a year ago.

Finished up some coasters for a swap.

Just simple granny squares, but I like the colors. And the yarn is all cotton, so the coasters should be quite absorbent and washable.

So, yesterday was pretty much a bust. I was exhausted. But today I restrung a necklace that belongs to my mother-in-law. Last time she was babysitting my little monster, she broke it and sent beads flying everywhere.

Now it’s back together, and wearable once again. Fun, fast, easy. Thanks, I needed that!

Working on something I hope to have finished by Friday.

Pretty much all I could manage today is trying to turn  this

into something more usable.

Well, I decided to go with the wrong linings matched to each bag.

My daughters love them, and I’m going to now take a break from my sewing machine for a little while.

Well, here’s my partial project for today, a mess up.

I made these as Valentine’s gifts for my girls, but matched up the wrong linings to the wrong outer shells. BUMMER! Now I don’t know whether to rip it out and do it right, or just leave it and sew up the last seam and call them done. You can cast your vote at my blog, I’m too tired to think right now!

I made a batch of clay this afternoon, and helped my daughter make Valentines for her class party tomorrow.

Very easy to make, and very successful. You can find the link to the recipe and a few more pics on my blog.

For Day 12, I finished putting on the binding that I made on Day 5. It was for this quilt that I started for my husband over 5 years ago.

Nothing earth-shattering today, I just made a lot of bias binding to finish up a quilt.

This quilt has been lying there unfinished for so long (over five years, I think), I’m determined to get it done, finally, in time to give to my husband for Valentine’s Day. I really like the way the plaid looks cut on the bias.
