oh, i’m the most infrequent poster.. I’ll work on that..

soooo… the day before yesterday I didn’t do anything because I was at a party for the afternoon and evening and then I was too tired.

But: Yesterday I did this:

It’s a beachmat transformed into a jewelry-holder… let’s see if it’s practicable. I still need some hangers….

Aaaaand today, I repaired a necklace (and I just have to add) with my swiss knife. (Which has a nipper so it’s not that MacGyver-y of me…)

so, this is the wedding cake I made yesterday for the wedding of a good friend today!

(shield your eyes if your allergic to kitsch!)

considering my expertice in these matters I’m so happy and relived that it looked like that and not like some cake-saster… well the marzipan roses were great to breed agression and let’s not talk about that sugar frosting… let us just say that carrot cake and orange marmelade works great together

And todays thing is, because I was at the wedding and took a lot of photos, this photo which I like a lot (oh! it’s a slice of the cake, not that I’m obsessed with it.. hehe..)

so, i moved and was without internet for three whole days…. Now that I’m settled and all, I’ll try to get back to the schedule! Today I’ll gonna bake a wedding-cake, see how that works!

yesterday I made a sketch of the cake, be aware that this is as kitschy as it gets, as it’s for someone elses wedding who likes such things (I HOPE!)

As I will not have internet in the evening I’ll post a photography of it tomorrow!

when, on 31st of January, I wrote that I have no idea what do to, I was lying. To myself, and to you fellow participants and readers. I, in fact, had a idea, although it was so vague that I couldn’t put my finger on it. So I took the easier route. oh my!

So, my plans, as they lay out before me: I want to draw a bit, sew some bits and when I have no time or motivation to do both of that at least I want to cook or bake something new. yep, because cooking or baking something I do know is not a proper “thing” for me, unfortunately for me that’s how my mind works. I also like to write quite a lot, but as my mother tongue is german, that wouldn’t work here. so here we go, a lenghty post about my aspirations: drawing, sewing, cooking, baking. and the occasional surprise, I’m of course always good for that. yay!

so today, I started drawing things I’d like to have, because we live in a material world, and, well, I’m a material girl…

sooo, I had two exams today, and I’m a bit sick, to be honest I considered cheating and posting something I made yesterday, but then I thought, “you can’t cheat on the FIRST day” so there we go:

I made a travel tissue thing-y that my mother asked for for a long time, so thanks to extrinsic motivation, she get’s one! look one is poking out!

Other than a lot of you here, I don’t have any plan (or… clue) what I will do for each one of the next 29 days, but I hope the whole thing is a motivation for me to DO something and not just ponder about it…
