Okay, I am totally behind and totally cheating. I took pics of stuff I did over xmas and so I offer them at this time in a feeble attempt to retore a modicum of thing-a-day normalcy.

A desert rain complete with rainbow.

Drawn after Walter Reed. I loved trying to re-create these faces. I’m not satisfied all together with proportions but over all they’re okay. It has been literally years since I have done any drawing like this. I found that I have rather missed it. Glad for the opportunity.

It seems as if I can’t quite get this ‘everyday’ thing goin but every other day is working so here are my days 9 and 10. My son also wanted to contribute and his is below. He wanted to work a design with color and shapes. The best part to me is seeing how pleased he is with his work!

I am including the card and the envelope for both days. They are done in mixed media and are a Della Wetterman design.

This was a photo of my shamrock flowers. They are generally viewed as small and danty blossoms but this sure gives them a grand profile. In both images I used Picasa2 to edit my photos. I’m not brave enough to tackle photoshop. Hope you all like. This was day 8.
This is day seven’s work. Not much really but it was a great photo of water being reflected onto the ceiling. My son had pointed it out and as I am a lover of odd shapes that occur randomly…it became a photo op.

This was a picture that was altered by adding saturation and a few other things. Some of my photos have been long in waiting for attention. Glad for the opportunity.
This was artwork that I received yesterday in the mail from my grandbaby (four years old) but didn’t get a chance to post till today.

This is another pen and ink fashioned after Frank J. Lohan. I don’t know why I invest in this medium right now but I have enJOYed the process. This did take longer than the alloted time but I’m okay with that. It has inspired my son and husband in the sense that they were at the table this evening with me, my son doing math, and my husband playing guitar (which he hasn’t done much of late). I was a happy wife, mother, and self this day thanks to the inspiration of you all. Keep it flow’n.

One of the folks here posted a scribble site that was a lot of fun to play with. I’m adding my piece to todays selections. Thanks to whomever that was…my son is wanting to do it now. Way cool.

I am ALWAYS a day late and a dollar short. I’m new to this but from what I’ve been able to see this is SO inspiring and fun! Glad to be a part of the ‘creative collective’. This image was a crop from a desert photo that was super saturated and probably something else I did but can’t recall. It was quite cropped so I don’t know how this will appear, but I can say this is all a new to me. Happy trails!
