Today’s Thing - Doublet Pattern and Sewing  Instruction

Today, came over and we created a doublet pattern for her. It actually didn’t take terribly long, so we started the actual cutting and sewing process as well. When we stopped for a Daily Show break, we had the face fabric, lining, and interlining (all linen of course) cut out and the first phase pinned together.

As a bonus, in between offering direction I was able to do some cleaning in the basement, meaning that the pattern pieces were actually able to be cut out ON the cutting table. Shocking! :P
