Thing #21. No-Bake Cookies
I love no-bake cookies! They are so quick and easy to make, and they taste so yummy with their combination of chocolate and peanut butter. I’ve heard that you can also make a plain peanut butter variety for those that don’t like chocolate (weirdos….), but I’ve never tried that. The best part about no bake cookies though, is licking the “bowl” (a.k.a saucepan) while it’s still warm and mushy!

Here’s the recipe:
- 1 stick butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 1/2 to 3 cups quick oats
In a saucepan over medium heat combine butter, sugar, cocoa powder and milk. Heat until all the butter is melted and it starts to boil. Heat one minute past boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add peanut butter and vanilla. Stir until mostly combined, then add oats. Drop by spoonfuls onto sheets of wax paper. Let cool. Eat!
