Day 18: Kid’s Apron from recycled materials

Thing-a-Day Day 18: Kid's Apron from recycled materials
I have made quite a few of these. This one, specifically, utilizes my husband’s shirt (the back and part of the front) plus a bit of my daughter’s jeans (I used the denim for the star applique). Cutting up his shirt was great in that it kept him from wearing it anymore. That think was fading in places and not very professional. The reverse side of the apron is scrappy patchwork. The straps are scraps leftover from other projects that used this bandana skull print.
