Feb 17, 2008 - Robot ATC

FAIL

My thing today was supposed to be an ATC with a little robot on it with LED eyes that light up when you touch the pad. Unfortunately, my design is flawed and my touch switch doesn’t work the way I need it to. Apparently humans aren’t nearly as conductive as metal. Sux. I’m reworking my design and will post when complete. In the meantime here is the original PCB.

  • Someone I went to college with used to make stuff out of glass and copper. People would then hold both copper pannels at the same time and a small amount of electricity would conduct through them to complete the circuit. I never really figured out how it worked, or rather, I could never get it to work myself. She said all there was to it was using 3V… Any which way, this her website:
