Thing 14. My first quilled picture
I’m still sick with the flu, so it seemed like a good idea to try the new quilling tool and paper strips I ordered. This is my first attempt. I’ve had a bad case of Gluer’s Block.

oh very pretty! a friend of mine used to make these on little cards… i like how you’ve done a whole scene with them. especially impressive because you’re sick. i have been too and find that i have less energy to make things… get well soon!
How do you do these scrolling paper things? Is that what you mean by the quilting tool? I totally want to try this - but it can be as simple as it looks. Any online examples / tutorials you can point me to (or a book, for that matter, like in the olden days… ;)) Thanks!
