thing 11: the brass toad-o-phone
Today’s instrument is a recurved brass horn with a plastic reed made from a drinking straw from these instructions. It looks so pretty, but it’s my solemn duty to inform you that it sounds like this.

I seriously seriously love your instruments.
It’s awesomely inspirational that you’ve come up with a new one every day, and I have major respect for anyone who can have so much fun diving into the physics of music like that.
I’ve never really explored sound making that much myself, though I love the physics of it.
Maybe your posts will push me into this foreign realm of creation by the end of the month
