Compliment Attack! - Day 7

Yesterday I was having a relatively bad day - you know how you just have those days? Well, I sat down in class and just felt horrible, and I pulled out my binder and - oh my goodness! A friend of mine (whose handwriting I recognized) had left an anonymous note in my bag, that just read, “Adorable!” It was goofy, and made me smile, a lot.

So anyhow, later I thanked him for it, and his response was:
“so so so I think that we should start an all-out campaign of leaving nice notes in people’s bags. English class tomorrow. bring kindness.”

Thus, here is the first batch of compliments! I spent a lot of time slipping them sneakily into my schoolmates’ book bags, and giggling foolishly to myself when they didn’t notice. I wonder what their reactions were!

  • Fabulous! I think I might “riff” on this over the weekend with my son as we gear up for V-day….

  • :) That’s a great idea.

  • This is a truly lovely idea. Let us know what kind of feedback / reaction you get. It would be great if you started a whole rash of stealth complimentary note leaving amongst your friends. I wish I was in a community where I could try it out myself.

  • FANTASTIC
