Thing 5. Crocheted Pizza

OK, I’m trying again. Thank-you for the kind responses to my message yesterday about giving up.
As soon as I saw the red and yellow variegated yarn in my stash, a slice of pizza was on my list of projects to do. I know that making fake food these days is a popular choice, so I guess that makes me a lemming. ![]()

OH MY GOD! *WANT*
I was going to say, I love the oozy part at the top… nice detail!
What? Oh man. I love this! What a great idea. That’s hilarious.

awesome!
That is so great!
Fabulous - it looks good enough to eat! *grin*
So. Cute. Really. Can you direct me to a pattern source or website? I want to make some pizza!
Sorry, no pattern. I made it up as I went along. The only tricky part was the crust. It’s actually a rolled piece of crochet, with a couple rows crocheted to the base of the original piece so that it forms a double thickness.
deliccccious!
Nice! Makes me wanna eat some pizza!
Thanks for responding. I just figured if there was a pattern I wouldn’t bother “reinventing the wheel”, so to speak. But I might have to try my hand at some myself. The yarn you found is perfect, don’t know if I can find anything that great.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that fugging rules! the variegated yarn is soooo perfect
