Man: My letter says that I need to report to room 113.
Woman: Yes.
Man: Here I am.
Woman: Please take a seat and wait until your name is called.
Man: I thought you’d take a little more interest. Seeing as I’ve actually shown up. It looks as though I’m the only one who has actually shown up. It’s like I deserve a gold star.
Woman: There have been others.
Man: Really?
Woman: Here and there. Others. They all take a seat and wait until their name has been called. And they all go through that door.
Man: How long is the wait?
Woman: Can’t say.
Man: Can’t or Won’t.
Woman: Pick one.
Man: Won’t.
Woman: That’s too bad.
Man: What?
Woman: Too bad. That you have such a negativity about you. It won’t serve you well once you go in there. Through the door.
Man: Do you know what happens when you go in there?
Woman: Can’t say.
Man: Can’t or won’t?
Woman: Pick one.
Man: Can’t.
(a muffled speaker says a name)
Man: That’s my name.
Woman: You’d better go.
Man: Right through that door.
Woman: Yes. Right through it.
Man: What if I didn’t?
Woman: Who knows what would happen.
Man: Do you know? Do you know what would happen?
Woman: Can’t say.
Man: Can’t or Won’t?
Woman: Pick one.
