DREI
thing-a-day no. 3 (now I’m all caught up!) :

This drawing is fan art. Not only am I a huge fan of the comic book, Ping Pong, (which is slowly being translated at that link), of the character Peko (depicted above), and of the cartoonist, Taiyo Matsumoto (he is MASTER OF THE UNIVERSE); I am also a newly minted fan of thing-a-day poster rowstyles and his fabulous hand-drawn fonts. I hate lettering because I suck at it, but there’s no cheaper way to learn than to blatantly copy someone else’s shit. I’m also a fan of Grado SR60 headphones, plain chocolate bars, boys with long hair in hats, the Korean and German languages, and bad spelling.
Drawn with a 0.05mm Staedler Pigment Liner pen on paper. Polka dots provided by a Deleter Jr. screen (ya know, the kind you have to cut out with an exacto knife and paste on yer drawing)
I heart, heart, heart your work, hellllllllen! I also think your lettering is quirky and rad, so shuddup!
lovely
I really like this drawing.
you’re killing me dude— the matsumoto feeling is in full effect… and dude, your block letters for korean is stencil-ready and totally rawkus. Awesome
ditto on your korean being stencil-ready!
THIS is wonderful.
I love the headphones. =)
KICKASS!! Seriously.
