Day 2 - Flying
OK, Today we booked plane tickets for the family summer vacation. And I’m already anxious. So this one’s about my love hate relationship with flying. My mother lives over seas, and has since I was about 8, and my father has always loved to travel… and in many ways has passed that bug on to me. I love meeting new people & exploring new places. I guess I like the being there part & HATE the getting there! Seems like it’s gotten worse as I’ve gotten older?
So I found the glasses for this one in a parking deck one day, seemed to speak to me of flying the minute I saw them… and my boyfriends boys keep asking me why I save them 
now we know. All of the imagery & text comes from an in flight magazine !

I really like using found pieces in collage. This is very nice- esp. the butterfly. I’m afraid of flying myself. But between the Xanex and the Dramamine I mostly sleep through the flight. Enjoy your vacation (once you get there)!
