Windows and shapes

Another quick image based on Visual Pose imagery. Emphasizing line but also shape forms in the figure. These shapes are curves, accented with background geometrics.

HopeEvey day 2

I had to look high and low to find a thin, all-cotton rope to make toys for my dog. She loves to chew on rope toys, but anything too big and she can’t get her mouth around it. Eventually she’ll chew it to bits, but she has a great time in the process.

Scarillow

It was fun! I took some fabric make it into a scarf, and to make it fluffy I used a certain stuffing and stuffed it inside of it.  I put balls on the ends and a button to attach it on your neck.  It was really really fun to make it.

Does gaming count?

I mean face-to-face story gaming, not anything on a computer. I suppose some people would call it a “diceless tabletop RPG.”

If it does count, I was multiply creative on day two!

Whether gaming is creation or not, there was the webmistressing today, which does. I tweaked some WordPress templates to work better, and moved more stuff over from my old site format to WordPress. It may not seem like much, but I always rewrite and update as I do that, so I figure it counts. It’s interesting to look back at some of the old content, 13 years after I started the site.

Day 2 - More Boxers!

I had fun making boxers yesterday and they were a big hit with my roommates, lol. I ended up making 2 more for my boyfriend (the money and tools .. lame!), 1 pair of tiger print furry ones (by request) for my roommate, and 1 pair of “dentist” boxers for my other roommate. haha, I love em! here they are :)

Day 2 - earrings

Today I’m traveling so I brought something small to work on - I made a pair of earrings. I only had a cell phone with which to photograph them with… all kinds of lack of focus! I’ll take a better shot tomorrow, and update. They are made of silver wire and glass beads. It’s great because I’ve wanted to make these for a while now.

Baking some art

Got busy making some edibles and some not-so-edibles today. Helped my small man celebrate his 7th birthday by making him some ATC’s.

Still haven’t figured out how to use this blog very effectively so I’m keeping it all at my regular blog:

Sunflower tote

I’m still sewing up Morsbags (reusable cloth bags) in hopes of cutting down the plastic bag usage. I thought today I’d whip up a bag since I was running short on time of something to “make”. I had ordered Morsbag labels a few weeks ago to sew on my bags. Of course by the time I finished sewing up this bag, I couldn’t find where I put the darn things.
A close up on the fabric below. I think they’re sunflowers, but I don’t see sunflower seeds in the middle. Anyways, I listed this in the “follow instructions” category, because if you’re interested in making one of these reusable bags the tutorial can be found here. And if you’re interested in this particular Morsbag, leave me a comment. If I get more than one comment, I’ll hold a drawing for it on Tuesday. If you’re the only comment, then woohoo you get a bag, no drawing required lol. And if there are no comments…boohoo…poor lil Morsbag. I’ll find a home for it on Freecycle ;)

Supah Quick

Time constrainted today due to needing to do family stuff… BUT - my thing today was 2 rows around on my hubby’s hat that I’m working on for him. It’s slow going because it’s small stitches, so while it might not seem like much 2 rows is a HUGE thing. :)

Time spent: 20-25 minutes. :)
