book earrings

Hello everyone! My name is Robyn, my nickname is robayre (sounds like roberto without the “to” part at the end). This year I’ve resolved to create a page a day in my art journal and so far so good. I imagine a good portion of my posts here will be sharing pages in the book, but for today I just finished these little tiny book earrings.

I’m obsessed with everything miniature and have been making little tiny books for years. I don’t even have pierced ears, but I’ve had the idea to make these in my head for a long time now. They are hardbound, with three signatures of two pages each sewn together for the binding. Pages are blank, but I used a nicer glossy paper for in the inside pages this time and so the pages seem a bit too thick for the book.

  • Super cute! I love fun earrings!

  • These are just plain adorable. I love them!

  • These are just too cute! I am going to have to do this myself! I would have never thought of this until reading your post! Thanks for the idea!

  • Oh.my.gosh. These are so unbelieveably cool!

  • Very cool! Love the idea, maybe I’ll try them too.

  • Yep, they are pretty cool and easy to make. And I absolutely love jewelry that makes people stop and look and these definitely are that :)

  • I love the books! very cool!

  • These are fantastic!

  • Ohhh I love them! I have pierced ears, but I haven’t worn earrings for at least a year. But I keep seeing cute and awesome earrings that make me want to start wearing them again… if I saw these in a store I’d buy them right away.

  • These are so cute & unique! I’d be interested in finding out if you have any items you’d like to submit to http://www.thepearproject.com (the site I run). If you do email me some photos at apply@thepearproject.com and we can go from there.
