Another Londoner

Hey all!  I’m really psyched for this — so much that I made two things today as I just couldn’t wait to get started!  I’m going to be doing some beading, card making, ATC backgrounds, wet and needle felting, loom knitting, yarn painting, trying out new food recipes and maybe more as I have at least another half a dozen crafts that I dabble with.  I’m also going to try to to go to craft get togethers (mostly knitting as that’s  what we have a lot of here) at least twice a week during this period.

I’m having two problems so far: one is that I have no idea how to deal with themes.  My stuff is so diverse that I can’t really imagine having a particular theme on a weekly basis.  How is everyone else handling this?

The second is photography: London weather sucks this time of year so the chances of seeing the sun are pretty slim.  I’m going to try to build a cheap lightbox/light tent this weekend, but  I’m still a bit worried that I won’t be able to get good photographs every single day.

On the bright side, I’m going out tomorrow on a big excursion to stock up on supplies so I don’t have to worry about it during February.   Three cheers for powershopping! :)  I’m disabled and sometimes can’t leave the bed let alone the apartment so I want to be sure that I have all of my supplies on hand so that I don’t have t forgo a project for lack of a little thing.

Anyway, if you want to know more about me and my crafting, you can check out my blog at http://thesickchick.wordpress.com

Happy crafting!
